My strategy for dealing with stress and anxiety is:
Food: Eat well and regularly.
Sleep: Go to bed the same time every night, make sure to get enough sleep, but not too much, and don't use screens the last hour before night time.
Excercise: You don't have to go to the gym. You can take walks, wrestle with your kids, or mow the lawn. Do something every day.
In addition to this, hang out with friends or family. Even if you're not very social, you need human contact. You don't have to talk. Just seeing other people living their lives help you putting your life into perspective.
If you have done all of the above and still don’t feel any better, get professional help. Visit a doctor and tell him or her how you feel.
